玉雕阴刻工艺是玉器雕刻的一种技法,是指用雕琢工具在玉料玉器的雕刻面上刻划琢磨出凹入此雕刻面的点、线、面,或者这些元素的组合,表现出线条、字体或画面的一种雕刻工艺方法。

Incising process of jade carving is a kind of jade carving technique,which means etching,scratching,grinding and polishing concave point,line and side（or a combination of these elements） on carving surface of jade materials and jadeware with the carving tools.This process is a kind of carving process method showing lines,character styles or graphs.
