Mainly, the insulation system and general used insulation materials for the AC traction motor of Class C insulation was introduced. The manufacturing technique and test method of the AC traction motor of Class C insula- tion was described briefly, so as to supply the reliable evi- dence for further development of this kind of traction motor of Class C.
