A Comparison Study of Search Engine Evaluation at Home and Abroad

对国内外搜索引擎评价研究状况进行了比较分析,支出了国内外搜索引擎评价研究的主要特征及趋势,及其不足之处。最后,文章支出为促进该研究采取的措施。

This paper compares and analyzes the research to the field of Chinese and foreign search en gine evaluation from four aspects of evaluation index,evaluation methods,evaluation objects,and evalua tion subjects.It finds some main problems in the current domestic search engine evaluation study,includ ing lack of authoritative research institutions;weak theoretical foundation and lack of innovation;less em pirical research;less performance evaluation research;immature comprehensive evaluation method.Final ly,it points out the measures to promote the research.
