摘要
对GPON(吉比特无源光网络)系统中处于用户终端的ONT(光网络终端)设备的材料成本进行了深入分析,从理论上确定了BOB(板载光收发子组件)方案为最优方案;介绍了BOB方案的技术难点与解决办法;给出了此方案各方面硬件指标(如电磁兼容性、光接口指标等)的验证结果,结果表明,BOB方案可以在降低设备成本的前提下满足GPON ONT各项指标。
In this paper, we carry out an in-depth study on the Bill of Material (BOM) cost of the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) equipment of Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Network (GPON) systems and theoretically determine that Bi-directional Optical Subassembly(BOSA) on board is the optimum scheme. Then we introduce its technical difficulties and solutions and give the verification results of the hardware specifications, e.g. Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and optical interface, which show that this scheme meets all the specifications of GPON ONT equipments under the premise of reduced cost.
