How to convert the advantages of cultural resources into industrial advantages is an im- portant and urgent task that minority areas should confront in realizing scientific development. Based on an analysis of the present cultural industry development in minority areas, the paper e- laborates strategies to improve the technological innovation of cultural resources. It is proposed that the mechanism for promoting the harmony between science and technology and the prosper- ous development of culture should be constructed, the conversion of innovative technological a- chievements be accelerated, the core competitiveness of cultural industry be strengthened, cul- tural markets be established and cultivated and modem science and technology be utilized to enhance public cultural service.
