中国城镇居民消费结构的渐进式转变

Research on the Gradual Change of Urban Residents' Consumption Structure in China

在AIDS模型基础上引入一个时间函数,可以通过实证分析研究经济转型时期中国城镇居民消费结构的转变趋势。结果表明,中国城镇居民的消费结构在20世纪90年代末经历了渐进式转变,各类消费的自价格弹性和支出弹性在结构转变前后是存在差异的。从支出弹性的变化来看,食品和衣着一直是必需品,家庭设备、医疗保健和住房正在向必需品转变,而交通通信和文教娱乐的支出弹性则处于较高的水平,因此对这两项消费支出采取刺激政策可以获得较为理想的效果。

This paper inserts a time function in the AIDS model, and researches the changeable trend of Chi- nese urban residents＇ consumption structure during economic transition Chinese urban residents＇ consumption structure underwent the gradual by empirical analysis. The resuhs show that change in the end of 1990s, the own price elasticity and expenditure elasticity of all kinds of consumption were different in the pre and post structural change. In the terms of the expenditure elasticity, food and cloth consumption are necessities, household appli- ance, medical treatment and housing consumption are changing toward necessities, the expenditure elasticity of transportation ＆ communication and education ＆ entertainment consumption maintain in the high level. Therefore, taking measures to spur the two kinds of expenditure could gain a better achievement.
