After the Second World War, with the dual role as a preacher and a politician, Philippine Catholic Church has a profound and strong impact on its domestic social and political transformation. The church has undergone the process of relying on those in power through the alliance, cooperating with well-intentioned criticism, breaking completely with resistance, and counterbalancing with supervision. Catholic Church in Philippines is more closely related to the transformation of domestic social and political theme at that time, whether it was forced into "de-politicization" or was on its own initiative in "re-politicization". Church's core interests has been defended by internal political mobilization and external political alliance, as well as exert influence on Philippines social and political transformation.
