Application of GC/MS/MS to Petroleum Geochemistry

摘要 In Chinese petroleum geochemistry domain, GC/MS/MS technology is getting more and more attention from organic geochemist. We use this technology to measure some rock and oil sample taken from Liaohe or Tarim basin. We identified many series of biomarker with dividing-era significance. These series are C26 steranes, C30 methylsteranes; and methly hopanoid alkanes, hexacyclic hopanoid alkanes, which two series were measured first by our laboratory in China. More over, these biomarker components are not been found by GC/MS analysis method because of their tiny quantities. At the same time, on the others, research base, we lay particular emphasis on measuring and researching some new and with special geology significent biomarker. In order to put GC/MS/MS technology into a further application and research in petroleum exploration and development.
