摘要
针对传统PCI接口控制器应用局限性的问题,提出一种改进的基于FPGA的PCI总线接口的设计方案。对PCI总线接口的各功能模块进行介绍,重点介绍主/从接口状态机的结构和工作过程,用ModelSim软件对PCI接口的硬件设计进行功能仿真。仿真结果表明,该接口支持32/64位PCI设备,能够满足PCI总线的时序要求。
Aimming at the problems of the application limitation of traditional PCI interface controller,an improved design scheme of PCI bus interface based on FPGA is proposed.The function modules of PCI bus interface are introduced,the state machine structure and the working process of master and slaver interface are mainly introduced.The hardware design of PCI function is simulated by ModelSim software.The simulation result shows that the interface is adapted to 32-bit or 64-bit PCI devices,and fulfils the timing requirements of the PCI bus.
