朝鲜实学思想家朴趾源创作的《热河日记》堪称"燕行录"文学的压卷之作,其体例构成可分为日记和杂录两部分,结构合理,重点突出,文体多样。《热河日记》中出现了大量的中国文献,朴趾源对中国文献的关注和甄选突出了其反理学立场,凭借深厚的汉学修养和对中国当时学术成就的全面了解,朴趾源辨伪勘误、驰辨逞才,并有意识地关注了与朝鲜有关的文献,彰显其民族情怀。

Jehol Diary by Pak Chi-won, Korean great thinker of Real Learning, highlights all the works about ＂Journey to China＂. It includes diaries and essays with logical structure and diversified styles. The large number of Chinese literature quoted in the book shows Pak Chiwon＇s standpoint of anti-idealist philosophy and his over-all understanding of Chinese academic achievements at that time. Pak recorded the literature concerned with Korea, then distinguished them and proved their authenticity. All this demonstrates Pak Chi-won＇s patriotic feelings.
