Research into the Policy of Ban on Maritime Trade in the Yuan Dynasty in China

元朝不仅是中国历史上疆域范围最广的王朝,对外海陆贸易也最为繁荣。但是鲜有人知道元朝也是首开海禁政策的朝代,元朝90余年的历史中曾经有过四次海禁,海禁政策的实施对元朝海外贸易、对外关系等方面产生过很大的影响。

In the Yuan Dynasty China has not only the widest territory,but also the flourishing foreign trade.But few people know the fact that it is the Yuan Dynasty that is the first Dynasty to carry out the policy of banning on maritime trade.There have been four bans on maritime trade in the history of the Yuan Dynasty.The ban maritime trade policy has a profound impact on foreign relations and foreign trade in the Yuan Dynasty.This paper introduces and analyzes the content,reasons to carry out the policy of banning on maritime trade in the Yuan Dynasty.
