The most direct, and themost familiar situation for the students is their daily life, so the situation teaching for lower grades students of primary school is very effective. This paper analyzes the significance of living situation in primary school mathematics teaching; reveals the problems teachers should pay attention to apply the life situation to primary school mathematics teaching; finally, put forward themethods to apply the living situation to primary school teaching.
