Voluntary Service:An Effective Way for Higher Vocational Colleges to Improve Their Social Service Ability

现代高职院校在完成人才培养任务的同时,还要依托高校科研、人才、知识等方面的优势,积极参与到为所在地方经济社会发展服务的进程当中。志愿服务具有拓展服务领域、提升人才培养质量和为学生搭建实践平台的重要作用,并日益成为提升高职院校社会服务能力的有效途径。高职院校应整合校内资源、建立长效机制,使志愿服务在学校参与社会建设的过程中发挥更加完善的作用。

On completion of the training tasks, at the same time, higher vocational colleges must participate in the process to serve local economics and social development, by taking the advantages of scientific re-search, talent, and information in colleges. Voluntary service plays an important role in opening up new services, improving talent-training quality and providing practice opportunities, which has become an ef-fective way to promote the social service function of higher vocational colleges. The integration of campus resources and the long-term effective mechanism are expected in the process.
