Welding quality control measures for TOFD inspection on ethylene spherical tank

针对球罐容易产生的缺陷以及低温乙烯球罐的焊接质量控制要点进行了分析,采取适当的控制措施,降低了焊接缺陷的产生机率;运用TOFD检测技术,降低了缺陷的漏检率,从而确保了低温乙烯球罐的焊接质量。

The common defects of spherical tank and key points of welding quality control of low-temperature ethylene spherical tank were analyzed in this paper. The welding defect generation probability was reduced by taking effective control measures. The defect detection rate was reduced by using TOFD inspection. So the welding quality of low temperature ethylene spherical tank was ensured.
