In the new media era,there are new and higher requirements for scientific journal editors.To improve editor competence and subsequent editorial quality,an effective way is to create a learning editorial department.This paper suggest ways to improve editor capabilities from three aspects,including professional ethics,academic knowledge and creation of a learning editorial department.Through creation of a learning editorial department,editor quality can be improved.
