视频序列分层技术是视频内容检索系统的关键部分 ,讨论了目标高速运动下的视频序列分层技术。采用高阶统计量、图像能量理论及块处理技术 ,快速拼接、重建视频序列中各镜头的背景 ,利用重建背景进行视频分层。实际视频序列的测试结果验证了该算法的有效性 ,层次分割的准确性 ,适用于实际高速运动视频序列的层次分割。

Hierarchical segmentation is a key part in the content-based video indexing and browsing system. Several methods including high order statistics, image energy theories and block processing technique are combined to reconstruct the background of every shot, and the reconstructed background is used to extract the foreground. Series tests validate the effectiveness and accuracy of the algorithm. The algorithm has special usage for the practical system.\;
