摘要
以乙烯基三乙氧基硅烷(VTES)为共聚单体,制备了改性苯丙乳液,并研究了VTES用量、乳化剂的组成与用量对乳液粒径和吸水率的影响。结果表明,硅单体的引入提高了乳液粒子的疏水性,乳液的耐水性明显增强,VTES用量为2.0%时,成膜吸水率由18.4%降至7.3%,有机硅单元的表面张力较低,导致粒径增大和体系稳定性下降。粒径分析结果表明,阴离子型乳化剂用量或乳化剂总量的增加,体系的稳定性提高,乳液粒径随之减小,当乳化剂用量为2.5%时,乳液粒径约为75 nm。
A modified styrene acrylate emulsion was prepared through copolymerization with vinyltriethoxysilane (VTES). The effects of VTES dosage,emulsifier type and dosage on the latex particle size and water absorption of film were investigated. The results showed that introduction of silicone monomer enhanced the hydrophobicity of latex,and improved water resistance. When the VTES dosage was 2.0%,the water absorption reduced from 18.4% to 7.3%. The surface tension of silicone units being low,latex particle size increased and the latex stability reduced. Particle size analysis showed that latex stability improve and particle size reduce along to the increase of anionic emulsifier or total emulsifier content. When emulsifier, dosage was 2.5%,the latex size reached to about 75 nm.
