经济相对落后的印度1999年软件的总销售额达57亿美元,出口额达37亿美元,已成为全球重要的软件研发中心。印度在信息业崛起的原因可归纳为以下几点:政府政策的扶持;不断延伸的软件技术园区已形成的“硅谷”效应;国内外的人才支撑,市场竞争机制的引入;以及及时的法律保障。最后总结了印度的成功对我国发展信息产业的启示。
India has become one of the key software research and develop-ments centers in the world with the total software sales volume in 1999 reaching 5.7 billion US dollars and export value reaching 3.7 billion US dollars. The upstart of the information industry in India is attributed to government policy support, 'Silicon Valley' effect, domestic and overseas experts support, introduction of competition in the market, and legal pro-tection . It concludes with the enlightenment to the development of the Chi-nese information industry.
