Research and Implementation of Network Covert Channel

网络隐蔽通道是一种利用网络通信数据作为载体进行秘密数据传送的手段。文章对网络隐蔽通道的发展历史、工作原理及其常用构建技术进行了分析和讨论,给出了一种基于HTTP报文首部行Date时间值的隐蔽信道构建方法,并对该隐蔽方法进行了实现。实现证明,该隐蔽通道难以检测,具有较好的隐蔽性。

Network covert channel is a way that uses network traffic data as a carrier to transfer secret data. This paper analyzes the working principle of network covert channels, and summarizes the commonly used construction techniques of network covert channels. Then, a network covert channel based on the HTTP packet header line of Date value is given and implemented. This network covert channel is difficult to detect and has good concealing.
