Polystyrene-supported N-benzyl-N-methylaminopyridine(BMAP) was prepared through chloro-methylated polystyrene treated with 4-aminopyridine and dimethyl sulphate.By aldehydes reacting with acetic anhydride, enol acetates were synthesized using BMAP as catalyst. Some experimental parameters were discussed. The yield of enol-esters is about 60%.
