Objective To explore the relationship between the nutriture and sleep quality of maintenance hemodialysis patients, to provide evidence for clinical care. Methods With convenience sample method, uremia patients living on hemodialysis were taken as subjects. A set of questionnaires were used in this investigation, including demographic data form, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Subjective Global Assessment (SGA). Results Of the total, 93.2% of the patients PSQI score was 5 and above and 67.0% of the subjects suffered from normal or mild malnutrition, while 33.0% case moderate or severe malnutrition. Correlation analysis showed malnutrition was negatively correlated with sleep quality (P〈0.05). Conclusion Hemodialysis patients' malnutrition is negatively correlated with sleep quality and nutrition monitoring and diet care are indispensible for patients.
