百年中国文学理论的角色焦虑

The Identity Confusion and Anxiety of Chinese Literary Theory in a Recent Century

在中国一个世纪以来的历史中,依托于现代知识体系建构起来的文学理论同时拥有专业知识和社会话语两种身份,这使它卷入了中国现代转型过程中的多种社会文化变革,并不得不面临来自于道德、传统、国际化、学术发展等多方面的压力。基于这个事实,从文化政治的角度来认识中国文学理论的身份混淆与角色焦虑,能够更有效、更深入地阐述它如何因现代性分化导致的学术伦理与社会伦理的分裂而深陷道德困境,如何因传承本土传统与追求国际化的双重价值取向而遭遇知识体系的冲突,如何因当下学术发展的跨学科趋势而必须扩大知识结构和方法论,从而重建自身的学科合法性。

Since the early 20th century, Chinese literary theory based on modern system of knowledge has been not only regarded as a kind of specialty knowledge, but also a kind of general social discourse. Such a double identity has made it be involved in social and cultural practice easily and have to face a lot of stress coming from morality, tradition, internationalization and academic development. In order to more effectively interpret the complex history and identity anxiety of Chinese modern literary theory, we think that considering it as a cultural politics would be necessary for analyzing how the modern split between academic ethic and social ethic has made literary theory fall into moral trouble, how the double quest for both native traditional value and internationalization has made literary theory encounter the conflict between heterogeneous systems of knowledge, and why literary theory should solidify the discipline base and validity by enlarging the knowledge structure and methodology when transdisciplinary research is becoming the new academic trend.
