Public Library’ s Risk Management in China based on “Five Forces” Model

基于迈克尔·波特的"五力"模型,对公共图书馆的供应商、读者、潜在竞争者、替代品及同业竞争等进行分析发现,国内公共图书馆与民间图书馆相比竞争力较差,因此要树立危机意识、寻找合适的竞争战略及积极争取社会支持等危机管理对策。

Based on Michael Porter＇s ＂ Five Forces＂ Model,the thesis made analysis on suppliers,readers,potential competitors,substitute products and horizontal competition of public libraries.The result of the analysis is that public libraries are less competitive than private libraries.On account of this,the thesis put forward the idea that public libraries should take measures on crisis managements like having crisis awareness,exploring more appropriate competing strategy and striving for social backup actively.
