摘要
教育资源的制作与学习支持服务是远程教学的两个基本要素。构建远程学习平台的学习支持服务环境是实现自主学习的前提。本文通过对学习者特点、服务价值与服务模式的研究与分析,提出了远程学习平台的核心服务是"交互式支持服务"与"非学术性支持服务",并给出了远程学习平台支持服务的应用模型。在模型的基础上,进一步分析了国内外主要远程学习平台(电大开放教育平台、网络课程平台、麻省理工开放课程平台)的支持服务环境,最后以Moodle为例分析该平台在支持服务方面的实践应用,并思考目前平台支持服务中的问题与改进建议。
Educational resources production and student support services are the two fundamental elements of distance learning(Ding,2002).Autonomous learning cannot be realized without a learning service environment built on the distance learning platform.This paper analyzes distance learners’ characteristics,service value and model,and classifies core services provided by the distance learning platform into two: interactive service and non-academic service.The paper then proposes the application model of such support services,and investigates some distance learning platforms in terms of their support service environment,including Radio & TV University Open Education Platform,Online course platform and MIT OpenCourseWare.Next,the paper discusses the practical application of Moodle in student support services.Finally,the paper points out the existing problems,and puts forwards some suggestions to address those problems.
