The mental depiction in Chinese classical poetry has typical Chinese national features and aesthetic effects as it is often implicative and implicit.They often make use of images to create the mood or mental atmosphere,or demonstrate the mental activities of the main figures by their gestures,or describe their psychology with the help of simile or symbols,or use the method of transferring the major figures feelings to the scenery and describe their mental activities from the description of the sceneries,or represent their mental activities by contrasting the sceneries,or reveal their secret mental activities by way of their dreams or unconsciousness.All these are decided by the typical Chinese pattern of thinking which emphasizes intuitive experience more.
