汉代西南之“徼”与“徼外”地理概念考论

The Discussion on the Geographic Concepts of“Jiao” and“Jiaowai”in Southwest China in the Han Dynasty

在汉代文献中"徼"、"徼外"多出现在对西南地区夷汉人群的界定中,而这种界定往往是一种地理上的表达,"徼"内和"徼外"是两种截然不同的生态面貌。作为一种地理边界和地理区域,随着汉代政治地理的扩张,"徼"和"徼外"亦不断地发生时空变动,反映了汉代西南边疆极具弹性的变化特征,并在不同语境下具有多元的地理意义。

The Chinese character ＂Jiao＂ and ＂Jiaowai＂ frequently appear in the literature of the Han dynasty as a definition of ＂Han＂ and ＂Yi＂ ethnics, but that definition is only from the geographic angle. ＂Jiao＂ and ＂Jiaowai＂ are two different ecological features. As a geographic boundary and area, ＂Jiao＂ and ＂Jiaowai＂ experienced spatiotemporal changes along with the po- litical and geographical expansion of the Han dynasty, reflecting the flexibility in changes in the southwest boundary of the Han dynasty, as the same time, ＂Jiao＂ and ＂Jiaowai＂ have multiple geographical signifieances.
