Xibaipo spirit and its values

1947年夏至1949年春中共中央迁驻河北省西柏坡期间,在领导中国革命斗争中形成了西柏坡精神。它继承了井冈山精神和延安精神等革命传统,主要内容包括"敢打必胜"的进取精神,一切为了人民、保持党和人民的血肉联系,顽强的学习精神,保持"两个务必"的优良作风以及民主协商的精神。它不仅为中国新民主主义革命胜利提供了强大的精神动力,还与时俱进,直接关涉到改革开放新时期党和国家命运的重大问题,具有鲜明的当代价值。

The CPC central committee lives and works in Xibaipo from summer of 1947 to spring of 1949, and hence the Xibaipo spirit comes into being. It carries the traditional commitments of Jinggangs- ban and Yan＇an to progress and victory in favor of people, in addition to democratic consultation. All this is a spiritual foundation for the democratic revolution and the social reforms in new times.
