发展船员劳务外派是船员就业未来必然的趋势,然而我国高职院校航海专业毕业生英语口语普遍很差。高职院校教学可以通过完善音标、培养朗读习惯、提供语言环境来克服学生的哑巴英语,来提高中国船员的英语口语能力以及岗位适任能力,从而使其在航运市场上处于主动局面。

Abstract To develop overseas labor services is an inevitable ten- dency in shipping market, but oral English of marine students in higher vocational college is generally poor. Marine students＇ oral English can be improved through developing their phonetic sym- bols and reading habits and providing them English-language environment so that they can be qualified and competitive in sea- rarer labor market.
