浅析Google Earth对中学生地理空间素养的培养

Analysis on Training of Geospatial Literacy Using Google Earth in Middle School

Google Earth自2005年推出以来受到地理教育界的关注,并很快在教学中得到应用。本文针对Google Earth在提高学生地理空间素养上的应用进行了分析。总结了Google Earth在培养地理空间素养方面的优势,包括可视化与仿真性、交互性、实践性、便利性。从地理空间素养三要素,即地理空间概念、地理空间表述、地理空间推理能力三个方面提出了Google Earth使用建议。

Abstract Google Earth has attracted attention from the field of geographic education and been used in teaching since its launch in 2005. This paper analyses the application of Google Earth on training of geospatial literacy. Advantages of Google Earth in- cluding visualization and simulation, interaction, practicality and convenience are summarized. This paper puts forward sugges- tions of using Google Earth to train geospatial literacy in middle school from three aspects that are geospatial concept, geospatial expression and geospatial reasoning.
