摘要
提出一种基于复式三角晶格光子晶体的新型高速太赫兹波调制器。该调制器采用点、线缺陷组合的结构,通过在点缺陷处填充非线性光控材料聚苯胺,实现对太赫兹波的通、断调制。基于RSoft软件仿真结果表明:该结构光子晶体太赫兹波调制器的插入损耗为0.31 dB,消光比为21.7 dB,响应时间为100 ps,调制速率为10 GHz。这种新型的光控光子晶体调制器在将来的高速太赫兹通信系统中具有重要的应用价值。
A novel optical-control terahertz wave modulator based on compound triangular lattice photonic crystal is proposed. The modulator adopts a combined structure of point defect and line defect, and by filling in nonlinear optical material called polyaniline, on-off modulation of terahertz wave is realized. The simulation with Rsoft software indicates that this combined structure has a modulation rate of 10GHz, an extinction ratio of 21. TdB and an insertion loss of 0.31dB. The new optical-control photonic crystal modulator is of a significant value in the future THz communication system.
