摘要 一、引言作为分布式计算的一个重要规范—CORBA,其主要目标是解决面向对象的异构应用之间的互操作问题,并提供了分布式计算所需的多项服务。ORB是CORBA平台的核心,它用于屏蔽与底层平台有关的细节。 CORBA is a widely accepted distributed computing specification,on which interoperability between heterogeneous computer platforms can be accomplished. The performance of CORBA-based application system is strongly dependent on object location and manual assignment of objects is impractial. In order to improve performance of CORBA-based distributed system,load-balancing problem must be considered. Firstly,two approaches that can be used to design load-balanced CORBA application are discussed in detail. On that basis,a general model of dynamic load balancing based on trading service is proposed. Not only load balancing is implemented in this model,but also the extension of trading service is transparent to application developers and the original applications can be integrated with it without any modification. At the end,analysis of scalability of this model is given.
