双翅目褶蚊次目化石研究现状

详细回顾了双翅目褶蚊次目昆虫化石的研究简史,统计了世界范围内已发表的3科20属96种化石名录及它们的地理分布和地质年代; 阐述了褶蚊次目化石的地质历史; 提出了目前该类群昆虫化石研究中所存在的主要问题,加强综合化石和现生褶蚊次目昆虫进行系统发育关系的研究,并对研究前景进行了展望。

This paper reviews the history and current status of researches on the taxonomy of fossil Ptychopteromorpha,an infraorder of Diptera. Up to now,twenty genera with 96 fossil species in three families have been reported all over the world. A list of recorded fossil Ptychopteromorpha species in the world with their distributions and geological ages is provided. The geological history of Ptychopteromorpha fossils is presented. Some issues in this research field are discussed. It is suggested that an integrative and comprehensive study of fossil and extant Ptychopteromorpha should be considered in the future.
