南京地区中老年牙周炎患者牙齿缺失情况调查

A survey in elder patients with periodontitis and tooth loss in Nanjing

目的:调查南京地区中老年牙周炎患者的牙齿缺失情况。方法:对南京大学医学院附属口腔医院牙周科因牙周炎导致牙齿缺失且年龄≥35岁的就诊患者进行问卷调查。结果:共调查424人,其中男218人,女206人。缺牙共计2 635颗,其中前牙616颗,后牙2 019颗,平均缺牙数为6.21颗。缺失牙数与年龄、学历、经济收入、职业、口腔卫生习惯、吸烟、全身疾病情况、压力及家族史等因素有关。结论:南京地区中老年牙周炎患者牙齿缺失较多,需加强牙周病的各级预防工作。

Objective：To study the oral status baseline of elder patients with periodontitis and tooth loss in Nanjing.Methods： The patients with missing teeth caused by periodontitis and aged ≥35 years were enrolled in a questionnaire survey.Results： 424 patients,218 males and 206 females,were investigated.The missing teeth was 2 635,including 616 anterior and 2 019 posterior teeth.The average number of missing teeth was 6.21 per patient.The number of missing teeth was related with age,education,income,occupation,oral hygiene habit,smoking,systemic diseases,pressure,family history and other factors of the indivaduals.Conclusion： In elder patients with periodontitis tooth loss is common in Nanjing.Prevention efforts should be strengthened.
