The influence of sample preparation to the analysis results, to the optimization of parame-ters and to the determination of solid solution nitrogen component in steel was introduced by using LECO TCH600 combined determination apparatus for oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen to determine the oxygen and nitrogen contents in steel.
