Objective To explore the effect of clinical pathway of nursing (CPN) on the adverse reactions after urodynamics. Methods 792 patients with urodynamics were randomly divided into the control group (n = 390) and observation group (n = 402). The incidence and extinction time of adverse reaction including irritation sign of bladder (urinary frequency, urgency, urine pain), fever, hematuria and dysuria were observed and compared between two groups. Results Adverse reaction occurred in 107 cases and 47 cases in control group and observation group respectively. Compared with the control group, the observation group had less incidence of adverse reaction and less extinction time, and the differences between two groups were statistically significant (P 〈0.05). Conclusions Clinical pathway of nursing provides standardized and programmed nursing methods to patients with urodynamics, and it can reduce the complications after examination, and shorten the time of adverse reaction.
