Fostering Innovative Talents in Colleges and Universities: the Predicament and the Way out

创新人才的核心特征是个体生命充分发展。高校教育作为一种教育模式,其主要目的只能是传授和学习人类基本知识,为人的发展奠基,对个体生命个性发展的作用有限。为了走出高校创新人才培养的困境,必须在发挥高校教育作用的基础上,积极开展大学生自主教育,使两种教育模式互补协调发展。

The core feature of innovative talents is their full development of individualities. College and university education, which is an important educational mode, mainly aims to pass on basic human knowledge from teachers to students, laying a foundation for students＇ future development, and therefore can only serve as a limited facilitative factor to individuality development. This paper aims to prove that independent education of students needs to be promoted and coordinates with college and university education in order to find a way out of the above described predicament of education.
