Value Orientation of Musical Education in the Pre-Qin Era

先秦音乐教育价值观取向,基本是一脉相承,音乐教育价值观取向在社会需求和个人成长两方面共生,音乐教育在整个社会教育中处于核心地位。从教育本体价值看,符合了个人和社会共同和谐发展的方向,使音乐教育总体上呈现良性的发展。但也不可否认,由于时代的局限性,音乐教育价值观偏重于追求伦理道德的社会价值取向,使音乐教育逐渐成为礼的附庸,成为后世封建朝代统治阶级利用的工具。

The value orientation of musical education in the pre-Qin period was embodied in two aspects： social needs and personal growth. Musical education was of the greatest importance in the whole education. It complied with the development of society and individuals in the pre-Qin days. But there is no denying that due to the limitations of historical development, the pre-Qin musical education laid more emphasis on ethical and moral value orientation, making musical education a tool of the ruling class.
