中国当代城市空间快速演变背景下的环岛雕塑保护与设计

Protection and Design of Traffic Circles' Sculpture Under the Background of Rapid Evolution of Urban Space in China

近年来,中国大中城市的交通环岛由于不能满足需求被迫逐渐拆除,环岛雕塑也因此被迁移或拆除,并引发舆论争议。这种城市空间形态快速演变与雕塑永久性之间产生的矛盾属于中国发展中出现的新问题。根据工程实践经验和基础理论研究结果,针对部分具体案例探索了在环岛雕塑不断减少的趋势下如何保护既有环岛雕塑的对策,并给出了未来环岛雕塑前瞻性的设计方法。

In recent years, quite a few traffic circle sculptures have been removed or demolished due to insufficient traffic circles in large and medium-sized cities of China, which has caused some public controversy. The contradiction between the rapid evolution of urban space and art permanency belongs to new problems of development. Based on the engineering prac- tice and basic research results, this essay discusses the methods of protecting the traffic circle sculptures and designing pro- spectively the future traffic circle sculptures under the reduction of traffic circles.
