In Russia, identity has always been one of the core issues for the intellectual history. From the 10th century to the 19th century, Russians had been in search of national belongings from myths to legends. For the horizontal identity of Russia, the acceptance and exclusion of others coexist, globalization and anti-globalization trends went hand in hand; Meanwhile, for the vertical identity of Russia, "the other", actively or passively accepted, constantly overlay in the original cultural connotation of "me", had dialogues and made it busty, eventually building a dual identity construction of "me and other". On the other hand, both horizontal and vertical identities bring about a continuous duality for Russian identity construction.
