Environmental History as a New Compilation Mode Evolution for World History

环境史开创了世界史新的领域,搭建起一条由传统全球视野向更宏大叙事的生态环境视野的世界史编纂方法的演进路径。二十世纪下半叶,人类步入"生态学时代",一方面全球史学家突破传统世界史体系,将生态史作为全球史重点研究领域之一;另一方面环境史家关注"跨越国界"的生物圈,以世界史作为研究范围,两种研究取向的结合使得人与环境关系的变化和影响成为世界史编纂的核心。

The environmental history creates a new field of the world history. It builds an evolution path of the world history compilation method from the traditional global vision to a more grandly narrative environment view. The second half of the 20th century, human develops into the era of ＂ecology＂. On the one hand, the global historian breaks through the traditional world history system, and the environmental history becomes one of the key study fields of the global history; on the other hand, environmental historians focus on ＂cross-border＂ biosphere, taking the world history as their research scope; the combination of the two kinds of research orientation makes the environmental history become the world history as the compilation core.
