In Hilbert space, a new iterative sequence＇ was introduced. A weak convergence theorem for finding a common ele-ment of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem was established and the set of common fixed points of a strictly pseudonon-spreading and a nonexpansive mapping. The result extends and improves the corresponding results of Osilike＇ s, Iemoto＇ s and many others＇.
