汉译黠戛斯族名考释

AStudy of Chinese Transcription of the Tribe Name of Qrqz

黠戛斯是曾活跃于今叶尼塞河流域的唐代北方民族之一,其悠久历史可上溯至西汉,其历史影响远播中亚。历代汉文文献对黠戛斯族名的汉字表达形式不一,译自的语源也颇复杂。本文运用历史语文学方法,探究黠戛斯族名汉文译写多变的原因,并就与此相关的中国古代北方民族史研究若干问题进行讨论。

Qrqz was one of the northern nationalities that dwelled along the Yenisei River in Tang Dynasty.With a long history that traced back to the Western Han Dynasty,Qrqz made a widespread impact on Central Asia.However,in Chinese historical texts,there were different expressions of the tribe name of Qrqz;the etymology of Qrqz is definitely worth studying.Using the historical philology method,I found the reason why there were so many different Chinese transcriptions of the tribe name of Qrqz,and this would make a difference to researches on ancient northern nationalities in China
