本文打破现代人在服饰研究上重女轻男的习惯 ,对《诗经》中的服饰色彩加以全面考察。以文本材料证明 ,在《诗经》中 ,男性服饰是艳丽复杂的 ,而女性服饰反而素淡简单。这种迥异于现代人的审美习惯 ,并不是一种怪异 ,而是在原始文化影响下形成的与大自然相融和的美。

The traditional research often discuss woman's dress,but little talk about man's .In this paper I have examined all kinds of clothing colors in Book of Poety. And a fact has been revealed that in Book of Poetry man was dressed in attractively bright colour but woman in light and plain, which is a different aesthetic custom from ours now. Primitive Culture and natual beauty had great influence on the curious aesthetic custom's formation.
