[ Objective] The paper was to discuss the control effect of tomato and maize intereropping against tomato powdery mildew. [Method] Three tomato varieties (6629, .[in'aihong and Yuxing) and two maize varieties were selected as materials, and control effects of maize and tomato intercmpping against tomato pow- dery mildew were studied in the paper. [ Result ] Tomato and maize intercmpping had obvious control effect against tomato powdery mildew. The relative control effect of 6629 was the highest (61.1%), followed by Jin'aihang (49.5%), and the control effect of Yuxing was the lowest (30.4%). [ Conclusion] The study provides the theoretical basis for pollution - free production of tomato.
