清末浙江新教育兴起之时 ,官办学堂的数量并不多 ,私人兴办或集资兴办的学堂占据大多数。尤其遍布各县各乡的小学堂中 。

WT5”BZ]When new education sprang up in Zhejiang province at the end of the Qing Dynasty,State-run schools were few in number.In fact, private schools and raising-funds schoolts took up a much bigger proportion in the movement.There were numerous dedicated sponsors,enthusiastic head masters as well as teachers who devoted thernselves to new educaton,especially in those small schools dotted in the counties and towns of the province.
