Spray booth and baking booth are important equipments in modern painting workshop for railway vehicle manufacture and these two kinds of equipment can also be combined to build an integrated spray-baking booth. Deep analysis and comparison are conducted from multi-aspects of technology and economy related with the two different ways of equipment configuration, based on the characteristics of rail- way vehicle painting and the building experience of a new painting workshop. The conclusion was drawn that the separate spray booth and baking oven are more advantageous over the integrated spray-baking booth both from technology and economy.
