Theory, Current Situation and Strategies of College Teachers’ Teaching Investment

摘要 教师教学投入,是教师在教育教学活动中所投入的时间、精力和情感的总和。一般地,教师的教学投入与其教学质量呈正相关,即教师在时间、精力和情感上对教学的投入越充分,教学质量就越会得到提高。通过问卷调查发现,我国高校教师教学投入总量偏低,且不同年龄、性别、学位、职称以及院校层次的教师教学投入不均衡。提高教师教学投入水平,政府和学校需要制定合理的教师激励制度,加强教师情感教育,提升教师的教学能力。 The teaching investment is the sum of a teacher's time, energy and emotion invested in undergraduate college teaching. The teaching investment is usually positively related to the teaching quality. That means more time, energy and emotion input in teaching, better teaching quality will be achieved. On the contrary, less teaching investment will be ended up in worse teaching quality. According to the questionnaire survey conducted by author in this paper, Chinese college teachers' teaching investment is comparatively low. And the teachers' teaching investment varies in different age, gender, academic degree, academic title and colleges. To improve the teachers' teaching investment, the government and colleges should establish reasonable incentive system, emphasize the teachers' attitudes toward education, and improve the teachers' teaching ability.
