The G.652 and G.655 two types of fiber can＇t substitute each other in the maintenance of 10G DWDM system. Through counting the relation between the propagation distance of optical signal and the ac- cumulated value of actual dispersion, the distance which G.652 and G.655 can effectively substitute each oth- er in 10G DWDM system is achieved.
