摘要
针对30名英语专业三年级的学生展开有声思维实验,考察受试者在笔译英文文学测试材料和科普测试材料时,其心理焦虑和所使用笔译策略的内在关联。通过分析有声思维数据和辅助有声思维实验的问卷调查结果,证明焦虑和笔译策略存在显著性相关:只有焦虑级别为中焦虑的受试者能较为全面地运用各项翻译策略,较好地完成笔译任务。同时,中焦虑受试者在笔译不同性质英文测试材料时所采用的策略也有所不同:笔译文学测试材料时,被运用最多的三种策略是比较选择、查字典和读源语片段;笔译科普测试材料时,被运用最多的策略是直译、启动背景知识和检查。说明受试更善于生成科普性质的母语。
In order to make a tentative probe in checking correlation between anxiety and translation strategy when translating English literal material and scientific material,30 juniors of English major are chosen as testees in a think-aloud protocol experiment.By respectively analyzing data from the experiment and questionnaires which are systematically designed for the experiment,it proves that there is significant correlation between anxiety and translation strategy.Only testees of medium anxiety are able to finish the task by using translation strategies in a comprehensive way.Moreover,when dealing with English translation materials of different styles,testees of medium anxiety adopt different translation strategies-comparing and selecting,consulting dictionaries and reading a segment of source language are mostly used in literary material translation;literal translation,activating background knowledge and checking are mainly used in scientific material translation.Therefore,scientific Chinese is easier to be generated for the testees.
