Analysis of Port Construction Conditions in the Leizhou Bay

为评价雷州湾建港条件,结合现场勘测资料和实际调查资料,分析了雷州湾的水域环境、气象、水文、泥沙、岸滩演变和地质等条件,认为雷州湾具有水域开阔、水深良好、波浪掩护条件较好、潮流不大、泥沙淤积轻微、岸滩稳定等特点,得出雷州湾具有良好建港条件的研究结论。

In order to evaluate the port construction conditions in the Leizhou Bay, the conditions in water environment, meteorology, hydrology, sediments, coastal evolution and geology have been analyzed, combining with the in-situ survey data. The results indicate that the Leizhou Bay is characterized with a number of features such as broad water area, good water depth, good wave sheltered condition, low speed of tidal currents, slight siltation, stable coastal beach and so on. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Leizhou Bay has very good conditions for constructing a port.
